The Head’s Up Display (HUD) also functions as a buddy light and the O2ptima diver has the advantage of vibrating alarms in addition to the standard readouts and lights.
The O2ptima FX can be configured with a variety of cylinders including steel 27s, or aluminum 13s which fit into a sleek, adjustable package. The tank-mounting system is the strong, solid Remora which enables easy, quick assembly and removal. This is all contained in an inspired case with high-strength plastic innards enclosed with a rhinotech and cordura cover which is further reinforced with plastic. With it’s black and silver color scheme combined with red components accenting it, this is a striking rebreather, which dives even better than it looks.
