From Kona: Go to the main highway that leads to the airport (Highway 19). Take it North towards the airport. About 5-10 minutes outside of Kona you'll come to a traffic light at Kealakehe Parkway. You'll also see signs saying Honokohau Harbor and Honokohau Marina. Turn LEFT on Kealakehe Parkway (towards the ocean).
* At the very first opportunity to turn right, TURN RIGHT. As you follow this road, you will see boats on both sides behind fences. Keep going. The road will make a slight curve to the left and you will soon come to a large, open lot about the size of two football fields. Make a LEFT as soon as you come to this large dirt and asphalt lot on the first road.
You will see a boat ramp directly ahead that the road will dead-end into. Turn RIGHT just before the ramp. Park on the left-hand side of the road, on the water side, by the small cinder-block building with the wood roof.
We will meet you here with the Konaquatica boat. Look for the Konaquatica Dive Center logo. Please go directly to this area, even if you see our boat elsewhere. We will meet you here, per these directions, regardless of where you first see the boat. Mahalo.
PLEASE BRING: C-Cards and personal dive gear. We also suggest sunblock, hats, cameras and towels. Please allow extra time for traffic.
From the North (Waikaloa/Gold Coast): Follow the main highway that leads to the airport (Highway 19) South towards the airport and Kona.
About 4 miles South of the airport you will come to a traffic light: Kealakehe Parkway. You will also see signs saying Honokohau Harbor and Honokohau Marina. Turn RIGHT on Kealakehe (towards the ocean).
Follow the directions above *.
