You already had an incredible experience watching the mantas on your first dive and now as you ride far offshore on our boat, you begin to wonder what’s in store as you watch the lights on the Kona coast get further-and-further away.   You feel your curiosity kick in, coupled with a growing anticipation.  After a pre-dive briefing and gearing up, you find yourself drifting underneath the boat, watching your beam of light and the lights of your fellow divers as you eagerly await what the ocean is going to reveal on this night.  Perhaps strange, unearthly invertebrates from the depths, or even a rarer visitor ?  Small shapes become clearer and you’re amazed as you make out the details.  You experience a strong sense of wonder and know you’re going to remember this dive for a long time to come.

Join Konaquatica Dive Center as we venture out to the deep waters of offshore Hawaii at night.  The Black Water Dive is a drift dive where we descend and hold onto a deco bar set at 60 fsw, or less.   While not a dive we do every night, when we have enough interested divers who are also certified Night Divers or Advanced Open Water Divers we spend a late night out on the Pacific with new experiences and discoveries.  If you are interested in adventure and something completely out-of-the-ordinary, then please join us.  Black Water Dives are $215 with a Manta Ray Night Dive included, and are offered as a single Black Water Dive for $175.  Dive lights and cylume sticks are included, as are incredible encounters.
